One of the thirteen gates that the walled city of Lahore once had. This gate leads directly to Delhi in what would have been united India once. This is the memory of a Sunday morning when the shops are still closed and few are awake under an opaque winter sky. The menacing presence of a police car parked in the middle of the road seems ordinary to residents who squeeze past on their way to their destinations.
